The aim of this paper is to propose a new reading of some emblematic stages of Heidegger’s thought in order to develop an autonomous interpretation about the origin or the founding dimension of human language. The three crucial sources that will be investigated are: the lecture course of 1924 on the Basic Concepts of Aristotelian Philosophy, the 1929 inaugural lecture What Is Metaphysics? and a series of texts that date back to the decades between the thirties and the sixties and thus belong to the later thinking of Ereignis. The starting point of my argumentation is offered by Heidegger’s statement, expressed in the 1924 lecture course, that the πάθος is the originating ground of the λόγος. Following this premise, my interpretative analysis goes forward by locating the origin of the philosophical and poetic discourse in the pre-linguistic and pre-hermeneutic dimension of anxiety, as described in the 1929 inaugural lecture. Lastly, a selection of Heidegger’s post-Turn writings is explored in order to support the thesis that human language is enabled by a preliminary ‘pathic’ event, and namely by the affective self-granting of Being to human Befindlichkeit.

L’obiettivo del saggio è proporre una rilettura di alcune tappe emblematiche della riflessione heideggeriana, al fine di sviluppare un’autonoma interpretazione circa l’origine o il fondamento del linguaggio umano. Tre sono le fonti cruciali per questo confronto: il corso del 1924 sui Concetti fondamentali della filosofia aristotelica, la Prolusione del 1929 Che cos’è metafisica? e una serie di testi compresi tra gli anni Trenta e Sessanta, appartenenti quindi al pensiero dell’evento. Lo spunto iniziale per le nostre analisi è offerto dalla convinzione heideggeriana, espressa nel corso del 1924, secondo cui il πάθος è il terreno sorgivo del λόγος. Seguendo quest’indicazione, si intende poi ricercare nella dimensione pre-linguistica e pre-ermeneutica dell’angoscia, descritta nella Prolusione del 1929, l’origine del dire pensante e poetante. Infine, alcuni scritti rappresentativi del periodo successivo alla Kehre sono indagati con lo scopo di mostrare come il linguaggio umano sia reso possibile da un evento patico preliminare: quello del trasmettersi affettivo dell’Essere alla Befindlichkeit umana.
