«There is a fundamental affinity between a work of art and an act of resistance. (…) Art resists, even if it is not the only thing that resists» (G. Deleuze, What is the Creative Act?). The challenge of the Call for papers of this special issue on Deleuze takes its point of departure from these statements. In our opinion, the essays sent to us (which we have collected) fully took on and revived the challenge. In this Introduction, like in an alphabet book, we want to mull over these essays, choosing some keywords that emerge from the papers themselves. So, this is not an ‘objective’ dictionary of the most important terms of the aesthetics of Deleuze, but only a glossary of ‘this’ issue of “Logoi”. It is, on one hand, a way to intrigue the reader who is not particularly versed in the Deleuzian vocabulary, and, on the other hand, a way to give the expert reader a kind of table of contents.
«C’è un’affinità fondamentale tra l’opera d’arte e l’atto di resistenza. (…) L’arte è ciò che resiste, anche se non è la sola cosa che resiste» (G. Deleuze, Che cos’è l’atto di creazione?). La sfida del Call for paper di questo numero monografico su Deleuze era partita da queste affermazioni. E i saggi ricevuti e raccolti hanno colto appieno la sfida. E l’hanno rilanciata. Proviamo a ripensarla, in questo Editoriale, scegliendo – quasi a mo’ di Abecedario – alcune parole/chiave che sono emerse dai saggi stessi. Quindi, non un vocabolario oggettivo dei termini più importanti dell’estetica di Deleuze, ma un glossario di quanto contenuto in questo fascicolo di “Logoi”. Un modo per incuriosire il lettore non troppo addentro al lessico deleuziano; un modo per fornire una sorta di indice dei contenuti, al lettore che invece già lo conosce.
