[II, 4, 28/02/16] GILLES DELEUZE AND THE RESISTANCE OF THE ARTSGILLES DELEUZE E LA RESISTENZA DELLE ARTI

The concept of work of art as act of resistence can be analyzed starting from the main character of Bartleby the Scrivener. Putting into relation the two different interpretations of Bartleby proposed by Deleuze and Derrida, we attempt to clarify the meaning of the notion of resistance into the equation proposed by Deleuze. Here, resistance can’t be understood as an opposition to something exterior,  but rather to an immanent power that is , in the same time, condition of possibility and impossibility of every act of creation and interpretation.

La nozione di opera d’arte come atto di resistenza può essere analizzata a partire dal protagonista di Bartleby lo scrivano. Mettendo in relazione le due diverse interpretazioni di Bartleby proposte da Deleuze e Derrida, cercheremo di chiarire il significato del concetto di resistenza nell’equazione proposta da Deleuze. Qui, la resistenza non può essere intesa come opposizione a qualcosa di esterno, ma piuttosto ad un potere immanente che è, ad un tempo, condizione di possibilità e di impossibilità di ogni atto di creazione ed interpretazione.
