The question about the relationship between art and technology, which is strongly intertwined with that about the role of the art in the technical world and of the properly human way of living in it, has been developed from different points of view throughout the Twenthieth Century. On the one hand, the confrontation between Heidegger and Krämer-Badoni enlightens two possible perspectives on this issue. On the other hand, it makes us aware of the difficulty of the dialogue between philosophy and art as theory and practice. This article assesses the relevance of this difficult communication for an existence capable to understand itself and to face the challenges of our time.

La questione del rapporto tra arte e tecnica, strettamente intrecciata a quella del ruolo dell’arte nel mondo tecnico e del modo propriamente umano di vivere in esso, è stata affrontata da diversi punti di vista lungo tutto il Novecento. Il confronto tra Heidegger e Krämer-Badoni, se da una parte illumina due possibili prospettive su di esso, dall’altra rende consapevoli della difficoltà di un dialogo tra la filosofia e l’arte in quanto teoria e prassi. Il presente contributo intende puntualizzare l’importanza di questa difficile comunicazione per un’esistenza in grado di comprendere se stessa e di corrispondere alle sfide dell’epoca presente.
