Friedrich Hölderlin, the Poet of Martin Heidegger
G. Karakasis

The aim of this article is to present the role of the poet and his importance in the thought of Martin Heidegger. Our main interest lies in the German philosopher’s analysis/interpretation on the poems of Friedrich Hölderlin. We will endeavor to show that through his deep relation with the thought of the German poet, Martin Heidegger is clearing for us a path concerning the way poetry should be approached in modern society, namely as a sign for our re-encounter with the beings as beings; not as mere objects.
