[IV, 11, 26/06/18] HERMENEUTICS OF VIOLENCEERMENEUTICHE DELLA VIOLENZA

The text traces the history of the iconographic variations of the image of the human body from the late 1500s up to the early decades of the 1800s. The author proposes to show how these variations have in fact disfigured the ‘Renaissance’s image’ of the human body, making a monstrous jumble of morphological forces surprises at the time of their most acute unfolding.

Il testo ripercorre la storia delle variazioni iconografiche dell’immagine del corpo umano a partire dalla fine del 1500 fino ai primi decenni del 1800. L’autore si propone di mostrare come suddette variazioni abbiano di fatto sfigurato fin da subito l’immagine ‘rinascimentale’ del corpo umano, facendone un coacervo mostruoso di forze morfologiche sorprese nel momento del loro più acuto dispiegamento.
