The submitted papers must respect the following guidelines:

  • max. 50.000 characters in length, with an English abstract of max. 100 words, and five keywords;

2) the second attachment should specify author’s name, curriculum vitae, email, telephone number.

It is the contributor’s responsibility to submit previously unpublished essays not covered by copyright.
Authors can insert images in the articles, if they are not subject to copyright.
The article can be accepted, rejected or returned to the author with recommended changes/revisions

The process of peer-review will take place as follows:

  • the files containing the anonymously proposed articles will be received by the editors at the e-mail address info@logoi.ph;
  • A preliminary review will be made, based on the general criteria of relevance of the topic, coherence and clearness of the article. At this stage, a member of the editorial boarder decides whether the submitted manuscript should be sent to referees or not.
  • If the manuscript will be accepted, two expert reviewers (chosen by the editorial board) read the manuscript and give their clear opinions.
  • Reviewers may allow the author to improve the quality of the manuscript, with graphical, editorial changes and, if necessary, even in part changes of content.
  • The editorial boarder will contact the authors informing them about the result of the submission (accepted/not accepted) with the synthetic opinion of the reviewers
  • Elements for the review process are:

a) anonymous format (i.e., with no indication of the author’s name and self-references);
b) relevancy and pertinence with the general topic of the monographic issue;
c) standard of scientificity appropriate to the discipline;
d) clearness of the text;
e) originality;
f) recommended changes/revisions;
g) synthetic judgment of the reviewer.

The names of the referees will be periodically published on the section ‘about us’.
All articles are the property of their authors and of “Logoi”. They are freely reproducible in any form as long as not used for profit. In all cases both authors and source must be indicated.
The author cannot proofread the article after submission.
