[III, 7, 28/02/17] THE UNTIMELY. FROM NIETZSCHE TO USL'INATTUALE. DA NIETZSCHE A NOI

The purpose of these considerations is to reflect on the ‘untimelines’ or ‘actuality’ of Nietzsche’s criticism to the ‘current’ men, in relation to his and to our present and, therefore, in relation to the questions that this criticism can ask to his and our time. After showing how Nietzsche address the issue within the second Untimely Meditation and in the conferences On the Future of Our Educational Institutions, the essay carries out a comparison between Nietzsche and two scenarios in some verses seemingly distant (from Nietzsche) but otherwise really ‘actually’ untimely (perhaps more then Nieztsche), such as those of Karl Marx (on the one hand) and John Henry Newman (on the other hand).

Scopo di queste riflessioni è quello di riflettere sulla inattualità o l’attualità della critica del giovane Nietzsche agli ‘uomini correnti’ vista in relazione al suo e al nostro presente e, quindi, agli interrogativi che può porre ai suoi e ai nostri tempi. Dopo aver mostrato come Nietzsche affronti la questione all’interno della seconda Considerazione inattuale e delle conferenze, Sull’avvenire delle nostre scuole, il saggio avvia un confronto con scenari per certi versi apparentemente lontani ma per altri versi altrettanto (e forse più) ‘attualmente’ inattuali, quali quelli di Karl Marx (da un lato) e di John Henry Newman (dall’altro)
