Thinking about the city is increasingly popular in the papers of urban planners, sociologists, theologians and anthropologists. The complexity of the contemporary age is characterized by an ever increasing urbanization of the planet with the risks, the possibilities, but also the problems that derive from it. Today more than ever it becomes necessary for philosophy to question itself on the theme of the city and the contemporary, to question rather than to give easy solutions. Facing the thought of three Italian architects who marked the past century, we want to return to philosophical reflection on time and city, to enter into dialogue with the complexity of reality and broaden our gaze towards the future.

La riflessione sulla città sta prendendo sempre più piede nelle pagine di urbanisti, sociologi, teologi, antropologi. La complessità del contemporaneo è caratterizzato da una sempre maggiore urbanizzazione del pianeta con i rischi, le possibilità, ma anche i problemi che ne derivano. Oggi più che mai diventa necessario anche per la filosofia interrogarsi sul tema della città e del contemporaneo, per porre domande piuttosto che dare soluzioni a buon mercato. Affrontando il pensiero di tre architetti italiani che hanno segnato il secolo passato, vogliamo tornare a riflettere filosoficamente su tempo e città, per entrare in dialogo con la complessità del reale e ampliare lo sguardo, verso il futuro.
